Why I Chose to Become a Tutor
I want to become a teacher in the future, and this is a great way of learning to hone some aspects of that career. Also, one of my favorite things is helping others to finally grasp a concept after putting lots of time toward it.
What I Want Students to Know About Tutoring
Tutoring is a great service to use when they feel stuck in a course, are having trouble with a concept, cannot attend their professor's office hours, or whatever other reason may prevent them from achieving success in that course.

Brendan Soberg, majoring in Mathematics Education (4-12), expects to graduate in 2025. Hailing from Phillips, WI, he dreams of living in Finland. Brendan, a night owl, advises new students to build connections for a better college experience. Engaged in SAGA and as a math grader, he tutors to prepare for his future as a teacher. Brendan enjoys helping others grasp concepts and is an avid video game enthusiast.
